We’re absolutely delighted to share the news that two of our oysters have been awarded Great Taste Awards 2025, the world’s most prestigious food competition.
Our ‘Ladies Choice’ oysters received a 3-Star award, placing them among the top 2% of all entries worldwide. Meanwhile, ‘Pearl of Connemara’ earned an impressive 2-Star award, marking it as an outstanding product of superior taste and quality.

Ladies Choice:
“We cannot imagine how an oyster could be better.”
“Creamy with a melting quality, natural sweetness and a clean aftertaste. A fabulous delight, full-bodied with salt, seaweed and sun.”
Pearl of Connemara:
“These have lovely provenance. The oyster water is not too salty. They are soft and creamy and have a more savoury finish than some but there is still a citrussy element.”
What Makes Our Oysters Special?
Our oysters are grown slowly and sustainably in the pristine waters of the west coast of Ireland, where nutrient-rich streams flow down from the Twelve Bens mountains and blend with the Atlantic Ocean. This unique environment gives our oysters their signature flavour.
